The “magic” in Aquarium Magic is pure science. It’s all based on the molecular arrangement of liquid crystals, substances that exhibit a phase of matter that has properties between those of a conventional liquid and those of a solid crystal. Thermothropic liquid crystals exhibit a phase transition as temperature changes. Voila!
